Based in East Yorkshire near the beautiful Yorkshire Wolds there is plenty to do near Yapham Holds Farmhouse.
There are some nice cafes, deli's and pubs to try in nearby market town of Pocklington. We love picking up a pie or quiche slice from the Laveracks @ Pocklington deli counter!

Pocklington also has some lovely boutique shops and other handy amenities including supermarkets (Aldi, Sainsburys, Co-Op), Post Office, Chemist, Pet Shop, Butcher, Barber and more.
There are many walks nearby including Millington (where you can join the Yorkshire Wolds Way), Allerthorpe Woods and the Pocklington Canal. Cyclists can enjoy several routes nearby inlcuding the famous Way of the Roses coast2coast cycle route. We also offer secure bike storage at no extra cost.
Allerthorpe lake offers water sports activities including Pedalos, Kayaks, Stand-up Paddleboards and Canoes. There is also an inflatable obstacle course aqua park in summer.
There are some lovely dog friendly pubs nearby. We especially like to stop for a pint at The Gait Inn, Millington after a walk with our 2 border terriers.

The famous city of York is a short 30 minute drive away. There is also the handy Grimston Bar park and ride service on the way to York so you don't have to struggle with city centre parking. You could even twin a stay at Yapham Holds with a night or 2 in one of our holiday lets in York.
